The steak and fish were delicious, and food was prompt for the upscale venue. It was well staffed, food was fresh, portions and prices were better than expected. "For starters, I had their 75-year-old recipe hot tamales, and they were really good, a perfect way to kick off the meal. I followed that with the traditional wedge salad, topped with blue cheese, diced onions, tomatoes, smoked bacon, sliced egg, and their delicious house dressing. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. For my main course, I ordered the grilled redfish, which was seasoned and lightly dusted, paneed in olive oil, and topped with fresh lump crab meat. You can also choose grilled shrimp instead, and they’ll add a rich beurre blanc sauce if you like. The fish was cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This place is a real bang for your buck. The portions are generous, and everything was seasoned just right. The atmosphere is classy yet comfortable, making it a great spot for a nice dinner out. Pro tip: I recommend making a reservation to ensure better seating, especially on weekends."

"I used to love going to dinner where people were dressed appropriately. Life has changed, I guess. I'm sure everyone's money spends the same. Bluejeans in a nice restaurant is just a no go for me as well as tennis shoes. Our server however was the nicest young man. I believe we were seated by an underage young lady? Maybe 12 or so. It was awkward. She did have an older person with her but just unusual. The food was good, not as good as I remember but maybe just an off night. The front desk area needs a better plan. There was a wait because the guy was on the phone and he had the reservation book. A hand held pad would help with these situations and your customers wouldn't have to wait."

"Great atmosphere. Fun bar scene and private booths and a private room are available. Apps of tamales, tuna tower and more. Amazing steak- filet cooked medium. Softshell crab on top with hollandaise! This is the way! The fries are excellent the creamed spinach as well. Great service. Good vibe. Good bar, drinks and apps. Eat here."

"We went for my wife's birthday. One of the best steaks I've had in my entire life. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed which was about 18 glasses of water. I even forgot to ask for the crab topping and he was able to get it to me in about 3 min. It was worth the wait for the crab topper. I can't wait to go back I'll be looking for any excuse to go."
